Throughout every walk of our life, we are either looking for re-enforcement about our own self-image or we are looking to please or impress someone else.
When we are kids in school, often time we or our parents will compare our progress within some other kid in the school. This idea of comparison stays with us and as we grow older and become matured adults, this idea is so ingrained in us that at every single turn of our life we can’t help but compare ourselves to others.
